Roter Hahn in Limburg

Thank you dear team from the "Red Rooster" !. We reserved quickly and easily via WhatsApp. We came to an incredibly tastefully decorated restaurant and received a very warm welcome. The service was more than attentive at all times without being intrusive !. The food- there's not much to say about it except to the point! Tasty seasoned and the right portion! We are even allowed to take our perfectly recommended bottle of wine with us! With friends, we thank you for a great and all-round successful evening! Keep it up! best regards

The five of us visited this restaurant and spent a wonderful evening there. The dishes were delicious and appetizingly prepared at fair prices, plus delicious beer and wine as well as the excellent fruit brandies. We were also looked after by a nice, well-rehearsed team, thank you for that. If we are in the area, we will let ourselves be pampered again.

We went to the Roten Hahn yesterday evening ... it was a nice evening ... we had different meals and all the dishes were just delicious ... the waiter was really nice and obviously enjoyed his work - we'd love to come back ... thank you again for the nice evening

Nice little restaurant with a small terrace. However, the menu is also fairly straightforward. But everyone can find something and it tastes very good. Red Rooster ... see you again.

We were there for the first time and completely satisfied. The service was great, the food was great & value for money fair. - Not to forget: great roof terrace to sit outside. We would love to come back!

Five stars? That is not enough, min. 7 stars ago. Incredibly nice service, great service and the food. Delicious! Tasty! Delicious! A small but very fine restaurant with taste. We'll be back soon, for the third, fourth and many more visits.

What an absolute pleasure to eat here. The food is fresh prepared with a great menu choice. The staff are definitely the icing on the cake. Friendly and helpful without being too intrusive. Would give more stars to the staff if it were possible. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

We felt very comfortable. Fast friendly service and my rump steak was great meat quality and fried just as I wanted it to be. Delicious!

We just wanted to have a drink, the order was taken with a very disapproving look. Large drinks were then automatically served, the price for an apple spritzer was quite high at € 4.80. The food at the next tables looked good and the guests there were also served friendly.

Delicious food, great staff. You will be trusted if payment by card does not work. They assume you will fix that. Class. If you don't, you have eaten for nothing.

Just off the Autobahn at Limburg enroute to Heidelberg. The Roter Hahn is highly recommended and with good reason. They have a great Iocation next to a parking garage. The decor is rustic and warm with the coarsely plastered thick walls, rustic eclectic wooden tables, comfy couches, muted soft lighting and great atmosphere. The staff is outgoing, accommodating and friendly . Full marks there. The Handkäse is superb. Well presented and an excellent appetiser.The Goat Cheese mit Feigen and the Vegetarian options tasted great. The sauces were well made and had a lot of balance and flavour. The chocolate wine was a revelation and is highly recommended. It paired beautifully with the Handkäse. The superb atmosphere of the restaurant, the friendly service and the great tasting food. Full marks.

Excellent food

Cathedral of Limburg. Historic church with 1000 years of history. To see from afar and to admire from the near. The architecture is unique and should be seen. Also very nice to look at night.

Great place for schnitzel and other German favorites. Staff is wonderful.

We ordered a couple of steaks at different degree of roasting. These were exactly as ordered. Best compliments to chef! Also service is very cautious. Definitely recommended to drop in for a lunch.

the best local restaurant in Limburg. The terrace, the service by the owners, the steak, and the chocolate dessert, all come to a great experience. It is conveniently located in the old town, next to a parking structure, with a very beautiful facade which predicts the quality you experience during your stay. Definitely recommend!
